Place of employment has been robbed more than a dozen times. At least 5 this year alone. Police have been called, they come and take information, they have video of the criminals stealing, breaking and entering, and destroying property...yet they have not stopped these criminals from coming back time and time and time again. No protection involved for law-abiding citizens. No justice being served to criminals. They have literally told me that 'If I didn't see it, it didn't happen.'...yeah...these are the people protecting you and your children...their 'go to' excuse is the relative equivalent of 'It ain't a crime if you don't get caught.' Good work to the morons that patrol our streets and speed through school zones to get to a gas station (gotta buy those cigarettes) or drive distracted with both hands off the wheel (one hand on a cigarette and the other holding a cellphone)...all the while drifting between traffic lanes...unaware that you are on the verge of hitting multiple vehicles. Make complaints about them and they harass you non-stop. All complaints are handled by cops inside the system so they will sit there and cover for each other...not much point in making complaints if the person with the final say is the friend of the person you are complaining about...or even a 'relative'...as one case happened to be....or even the person that you complained about in the first place...yes...they handed an investigation over of a complaint made about a police officer to the very police officer that the complaint was made about in the first place. Nice system I tell you. This is not unique to Richmond either...it is an issue across the country.

Report a theft incident. Made me waited on the phone more than 20 mins. Told me there will be officers calling me before coming over. Afters hours of waiting no called was received. I am not going to wait for another 20 min on the phone. I am now concern about the safety of residents of Richmond.

About 15 years ago I was drugged and assaulted by my roommate. I went to the Richmond RCMP the next morning - distraught and in shock - to file a police report and press charges. The drug was still in my system, there may have been concrete evidence had they even *attempted* to help me, but they didn't. The RCMP officer at the front counter dismissed me and refused to even let me speak, the officer did absolutely nothing to help, in fact was quite demeaning and told me to leave. The way I was treated by the RCMP only aggravated the stress and trauma and I left the station feeling hopeless... this experience marks the point in my life when I lost faith in humanity and kind of gave up on life.... the RCMP didn't perform their duty or due diligence, they in fact contributed to the trauma. I was so dejected and felt so disgusting and ashamed that I didn't go to the hospital for testing or a rape kit, I just assumed the RCMP would help me with that and when they didn't.... I just gave up. I cannot explain in words how wounding and traumatic this experience was. Shame on you, Richmond RCMP. You are no friend to women, to victims or to the community.

They violate your rights, obstruct justice, assault and kill those with mental impairments, and they sexually assault citizens and when you confront them they try to kill you and then they dont investigate the crime cause they are behind it. Dirty sleazy unprofessional criminals

I had an order to remove my tint windows on my car, I removed it and came here to validate that I did indeed remove the tint. The female officer was very professional, with just the right amount of friendliness and smile applied to me during this stressful ordeal ( FYI She is the redhead, blue eyes, mid 30's, yes she left me with a great impression) . All was smooth and went very well. I have to admit, after reading the reviews here, I geared up on preparing for the worst......but my experience was more than fair, AND I wasn't talked to like I was a freeloading non working non tax paying citizen .SOME officers tend to do when they are in a power position ( I call it SDS.....small dick syndrome) Just being honest people. I hate being talked to like I just murdered someone when being given a warning ticket!
